How the 6 Weeks Work (Simple Overview)

Weeks 1-2

Vote on genre, characters, setting, and plot.

Democratic decisions.

Weeks 3-4

Writers draft the story and convert it into a script.

Illustrators create artwork for every key scene.

Week 5

Voice Artists record narration. Sound Effects add audio.

Week 6

Everything is compiled and sent to Book Crafters for final assembly.

Pupils choose their top two role preferences. Teachers make final allocations based on strengths and confidence – including SEND and reluctant writers.

What year groups is this for ?

Designed for KS2 (Years 3–6). It can be adapted for Year 2 with additional teacher support. It can also be adapted for after school sessions as well as Half-Term and Saturday clubs.

What software do we need ?

Audacity (free, open‑source) for audio editing. Canva (free version) is optional. The rest is pen, paper, and basic art supplies.

How do we get the finished book ?

The Multimedia book will be in multiple formats for which we will send you a download link. Included in the link will be the Audiobook version & digital Colouring book if selected.

Can we sell the finished book ?

Yes. You keep 100% of the royalties. We can provide a simple guide to uploading on Amazon KDP or Apple Books as well as various digital marketplaces.

Do your staff have DBS checks ?

This project is designed for teachers to deliver. We do not send staff into schools. All resources are either mailed to you or are digital for downloading.

What if we have more than 30 pupils ?

Roles can be shared, rotated, or expanded or Book Crafters can even be adapted to create multiple books from smaller groups allowing any number of children to be involved, Contact us for a bespoke quote.
